I’ve figured that this whole “Blog” thing should go to the next step. Now, I know I am not an award winning novelist, journalist, or writer for that matter but I do know I have a voice. The truth is, which I’m sure many of you know, it is hard to put yourself “out there”…to let yourself be vulnerable. But this Blog is an opportunity to do this, and not be afraid of it coming around to “bite you in the ass”.
Truth be told I am not sure what will be said and done when this all goes through, but I have always wanted to write down thoughts, ideas, and even stories; a record about events, people, and memories. I’m always afraid that I won’t remember things when I look back I won’t remember the little things. The moments that slip by us and that we struggle to figure out later on in life; I want to remember. The good as well as the bad. I have found that life is made up of moments, and it is our reactions to the moments that determine who we are as individuals.
One of my greatest passions is Fashion and accessories. I believe fashion is in everything around us it is not just in the clothes you were or the Trends we see on the run way or during Fashion Week(s). I strongly believe that fashion is a way to express oneself through colors, styles, patterns. When we are “at a loss for words” we speak through our outfits. Its thrilling and constantly changing! Its an exciting and adventurous industry to be apart of! My biggest passion in life is learning and experiencing new things, traveling, exploring, and immersing myself in new and different cultures & traditions. I am a highly detailed oriented person who is driven through hard work, passion, and determination. I am also a compassionate and caring individual who enjoys working with and helping people. As I gain experience through life, I develops a greater passion for Life and the world around me. Each chapter of my life has provided me with learning experiences and a deeper appreciation for Life.
So on that note…this blog is an expression of one person’s journey in life. Regardless of beliefs, opinions, and/or beliefs therefore there are some boundaries:
1. Don’t be a “Negative Nancy” or a “Debby Downer” – nobody likes negative people
2. Don’t knock something you’ve never tried
3. Do not throw blame or condemn anyone, because you don’t know where they’ve been or what they’ve been through; until that time be empathetic, with kindness and understanding
4. Seriously, don’t be “That Guy”….nobody likes “That Guy”. Just don’t.
I only ask you to give it a chance…because that’s all we have, don’t we? We all want a chance, to make it; a chance for love, for hope, to dream.
Take a chance, because you never know it might be the best thing you’ve done.
